On the Fourth of July the Cow Creek Band of the Umpqua Tribe of Indians will treat about 800 U.S. military veterans to a special tribute dinner at the Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort
The Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians will host its annual Fourth of July dinner for U.S. military veterans.
U.S. Sen. Ron Wyden will be the keynote speaker. The Portland Democrat will also pay special tribute to some of the attendees.
Nearly 800 area veterans made reservations for the free dinner, which will begin at 5 p.m. at the Seven Feathers Hotel & Casino Resort in Canyonville.
Doors open at 3:30 p.m.
The reservation deadline was June 26.
